Scott Sheffer was graciously, yet radically converted to Christ in 1991. As a result of studying scripture, Scott came to faith and immediately believed God wanted him to serve in the mission field.

In pursuit of being trained for his call, Scott moved to Greenville, SC and later joined Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church. Since then, he has been actively serving in short term missions and other related ministries.

Scott is a home builder and has been in construction all of his life.

Recently, God has combined Scott's building vocation and passion for ministry by calling him to serve in Uganda. The African Bible Colleges (ABC) and Dr. O. Palmer Robertson have formally called Scott and his family to move to Uganda and Build a campus for the new location of ABC.

From this campus, the Lord will send out hundreds of trained nationals who will help transform the whole continent of Africa with the gospel of Christ.

Laura will continue to assist Scott with the administrative side of their labors; she'll oversee scheduling, purchasing, accounting and "whatever else needs to be done on the job."
